Green Cabbage Slaw No Mayo

Ingredients

  • 515 grams Green Cabbage about 1/2 of Medium size Cabbage head
  • 250 grams Carrots 3 medium size carrots
  • 1.5 Lemon Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Raw Honey
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Freshly ground
  • 100 grams Sweet onion 1 small sweet onion

Instructions

  • Wash and shred the cabbage.
  • Wash, peel and shred the carrots using a box grater.
  • Peel, dice the onion.
  • Combine all together. Squeeze fresh lemon juice. Add freshly ground pepper, honey and olive oil.
  • Refrigerate for 30 mins and enjoy!

Notes

Taste and adjust! Add more lemon juice, black pepper, or honey until it's perfect for you. I go a bit heavy on the lemon and honey.
Chill the salad it will taste better.
Keep in the fridge for a few days it will taste great even after 3-4 days.
Don't like lemons?, not a problem, sub it with white vinegar.
