I hope you all had an fabulous holiday this year. Probably most of us are sick of turkey by now. But I know there are some that would love to have a Thanksgiving flashback and take a bite of this delicious Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich.
This year our turkey was smoke in our Pit barrel cooker. Results were amazing, and from ten-pound turkey, we had just a few leftovers, but were able to manage to make a couple of sandwiches this year. One stood out to be a dream turkey leftovers sandwich.
- Smoked turkey (white and dark meat),
- Macaroni and cheese,
- Greens,
- Home made cranberry sauce,
- Turkey stuffing,
- Mashed potatoes,
- Horseradish ( for that extra zing ! )
Does it sound and look good?
There are a lot of sandwiches I love, but there is something special in cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, turkey on a good piece of bread.
