At least a couple times a year if not a few my family makes corned beef and always goes for this smoked brisket rub. Flavors and aroma that come with this dry rub are just amazing.

Combination of different spices that are well blended together and applied on a choice of your meat, in this case, is a brisket.

Right rub mixture has to have multiple spices that blend well and create great BBQ flavors.

- Coriander
- Yellow mustard seeds
- Dill seed
- Allspice cloves
- Cinnamon
- Black peppercorns

Now to make this work for our beef brisket rub, we need to do couple things.
First would be adding ground paprika to add a bit of sweeter flavors to the rub mixture.
Second is using a small blender (We used baby bullet blender) to crack open all these wonderful spices and blend them well with paprika.
Applying the dry rub
Before we apply the rub, we need to make sure we pad meat with olive oil. Then gently apply the rub with your hands on both sides. This recipe is plenty for 3.5 pound cut of brisket. For best results, please make sure the brisket sits with the rub for a minimum of 2hrs in the fridge or overnight.

- 2 tbsp Paprika
