This delicious lettuce tomato cucumber salad has a special place on our menu, as the roots of this salad recipe come from Poland, the country I was born in. The mixture is refreshing, delicious in taste, and very easy to make. Not to mention that it is pretty affordable too. My family loves all kinds of Cucumber tomato salads, but this one is being served on our table on a regular basis. Perhaps a massive factor for us to explore this particular recipe is the fact that we also grow essential ingredients for the salad in our garden.
Healthy ingredients required for this salad are;
Tomato (We usually use tomato on a vine, but we have made this salad with different kind of tomatoes, including cherry tomatoes, beefsteak, and many others.)
Cucumber (We go for either English cucumber, Boston cucumber or whatever cucumber we grow this season. Seedless is probably the best choice.)
Red onion (We love red onion in this salad, the onion goes so good with tomatoes and cucumbers, this is a match made in heaven I would say.)
Salt and pepper (At times we use Vegeta seasoning as a salt replacement and to add a bit of different taste to the salad.)
Sour cream (If you do not want use sour cream you can always use olive oil or balsamic vinaigrette dressing.)

I use tomatoes, onion(white,red, or yellow,love all onions/ scallions), cucumbers in my pasts salads, boiled(” hard”) eggs, are a nice add. I like to use Italian dressing,or drop of Olive Oil & Vinegar,w/(LOTS)of pepper !I do not like peas,canned tuna,chicken,w.e, in my pasta salads.
That was a pretty tasty salad, and easy to make. I did use sour cream, and I truly enjoyed how all these flavors combine and make a great salad.
