Why We Love This Salad
There is something superb about the crunch of baby romaine lettuce. Combine this with fresh peppers, red onions, and crumbly blue cheese, and it’s a match made in heaven salad. To make these salad ingredients pop, the tangy zest of homemade lemon-honey vinaigrette makes this taste scrumptious.
The first time we made this salad, it was spontaneously created for one of the fall dinners. We simply run out of iceburg lettuce, but still had baby romaine left in the fridge. My kids, wife and friends of ours loved the salad from the first try and now this salad is a frequently requested dish.
It’s easy to make, versatile, and always a crowd-pleaser.
